| Description | Since 1892 Corgi socks and knitwear have been exclusively made at our factory in Wales, using cashmere and other yarns of the finest quality, a family tradition that continues to this day. Corgi was founded by Carmarthenshire draper Rhys Jones. Today his great grandchildren, Lisa and Chris, continue his legacy of uncompromising commitment to quality. Corgi’s highly sought after socks and knitwear are designed and produced in the Welsh countryside to be sold all over the world. Corgi specialise in producing top-quality, fine cashmere and cotton socks in bright colours that can be worn to add a vibrant touch to formal and casual outfits alike. The brand has achieved worldwide recognition for its use of bold colour combinations, patterns and motifs. They also produce a range of heavier gauge socks using a blend of the very finest pure wool and cashmere with no other fibres or man-made materials blended in. In addition to socks, Corgi produces a range of luxury cashmere knitwear and knitted accessories for both men and women. From chunky cable-knit cardigans to super-soft cashmere wraps, each garment is made by hand to a pattern written by Corgi’s in-house design team. In the year of HRH Queen Elizabeth's ninetieth birthday, it is fitting to celebrate with items that demonstrate the best of British goods. Such as Corgi Hosiery and their new line, "Best of British Socks". The Regimental Collection is produced in association with HRH The Prince of Wales. Each of the nine designs depicts the unique colours of the regiments and battalions of which Prince Charles is Colonel or Colonel-in-Chief. The Regimental Collection is endorsed by the MOD with a proportion of all sales donated to the veterans charity, Combat Stress. |
