| Description | The Lord Mayor's Show is one of the longest established and best known annual events in London. The procession is over three miles long – almost twice as long as the route it follows. It travels from Mansion House to the Royal Courts of Justice, where the Lord Mayor swears his allegiance to the Crown. The event is a street parade which in its modern form is a combination of traditional British pageantry and elements of carnival. It's a full day out for the family, with lots to do and see. |
